So, as a Marketing Manager at Artoo, you’ll help us in delighting clients and foster relationships with them through our product offerings.


Who are we looking at?
We are looking at someone with experience in writing messaging materials and working with cross-functional groups as well as working with press, industry influencers, and bloggers. You’re someone with in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and are aware of emerging trends. You’ve at least 5 years of work experience in marketing and communications (planning and execution) and experience in product / enterprise software marketing is a big plus.

As a Marketing Manager, you will need to:

  • Help Artoo push it’s value proposition of changing the economics of lending to MSMEs
    • Cover the entire process of customer acquisition and servicing the borrower, thereby becoming the true cost of customer acquisition.
    • Providing intelligence that can virtually guarantee the outcome of lending.
    • Provide a great customer experience for the borrower
  • Lead and execute product roadmap for Artoo’s enterprise FinTech products and platform across mobile, web, bots and AI
    • Develop ideas for incremental features as well as new product streams. Ensure all modules go through iterations and improvements.
    • Create quick mockups using design tools like Envision and Balsmiq
    • Work with engineers to create low fidelity prototypes with a focus on failing early.
    • Speak to MSME borrowers, Sales,Credit and Operations users and senior  management and incorporate their feedback. Do one-on-ones or focused group interviews. Create detailed user stories to convey the meaning of the requirement concisely and accurately
    • Provides the engineering team with definition, clarification and acceptance of features.
    • Identify vendors and partners to achieve product / solution goals.
    • Create a business case and try to quantify impact of each feature. Influence priorities and budgets
    • Build, prune and maintain the backlog
  • Analyze product usage patterns through tools like Mixpanel / Taplytics. Create A/B testing experiments to see what really works in the field. Conceptualize, Implement and finally report on these experiments.
  • Conceptualize a launch plan with relevant external communication.
  • Working with Customer Success & Support teams to gather user feedback and areas for improvement. Creating mini configuration tools and utilities to make them more effective.
  • Work with Sales teams to understand industry trends and respond to dynamic needs of a sales process.
  • Create and maintain Competitor analysis document. Take inspiration from them and ensure Artoo remains ahead of the market curve.
  • Push user experience and make users strategic
  • Understand under-the-hood. Help architects to implement the feature correctly by talking about future expansion
  • Make the user experience consistent. Incorporating the best of current design patterns
  • Ensure Product documentation is current. Allowing engineers to move faster
  • Work with data science to build intelligence into product design
  • Ability to question the metrics
  • Help with marketing collateral, website, representation
  • Influence sales and business models
  • Conduct pilots / A/B testing of new features and iterate effectively
  • Work with Engineering Manager to manage sprint cycles
  • Develop deep domain understanding, timely interventions
  • Opportunity to represent on the management team.
