Key Account Manager

We are looking for someone with excellent cross-functional management, communication (verbal, written, presentation) and leadership skills. You’re highly flexible and adaptive, able to multi-thread across a number of simultaneous projects and have sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in influencing and negotiation at an executive level is a huge plus. You can anticipate and build contingency plans and handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.

So, as an Account Manager at Artoo, you’ll help us in delighting clients and foster relationships with them through our product offerings.

Who are we looking at?

We want to work with someone with a strong history and track record of completing quality projects on time and managing multiple concurrent projects with shared resources. You have extensive and consistent experience of delivering complex projects throughout their life-cycle. At least, 5 – 7 years of Project Management experience, working on large-scale, business critical software deployments. You’re also experienced with providing customer-driven solutions, support or service. You’ve experience managing relationships with internal and external partners. You have some leadership experience and have worked under tight deadlines.

As a Key Account Manager, you will need to:

  • Pre-Sales
    • Assist in pre-sales activities – scoping requirements and features, estimating implementation schedules and statement of work creation (BRD) for new projects. Get involved at the final stages before proposal & contract signing.
    • Engage directly with Growth team in this process
  • Implementations
    • Owns a portfolio of projects – these projects will be a combination of new customer implementations & new feature implementations for existing customers.
      • Serve as the go-to person for Business Analysts to get clarification on solutioning of any client requirements
      • Assist Business Analysts to client meetings to understand new requirements
      • Understand customer use cases and requirements and in turn translate these functional requirements into requirements documents for the product team.
      • Author detailed requirement documents capturing workflow processes, use cases, exception handling, and test cases.
    • Ensure that a plan is in place for each implementation project
      • Collaborate closely with Delivery manager to do resource planning activities for each implementation project.
      • Take responsibility for the successful launch which includes points that the customer / lender needs to take care of: team, product, marketing etc.
      • Troubleshooting customer issues during implementation
    • Ensure projects stay on track, act as an escalation point. Track key delivery metrics and processes. Clear communication of implementation status, issues, risks and effort
      • Periodic status updates and calls within the project team
      • Periodic status updates to internal management team
  • Client Engagement
    • Conduct quarterly reviews with all stakeholders to understand the business direction and priorities. Plan Artoo roadmap in line with the envisioned future.
    • Update new product features released from engineering and their business impact. Evangelize these within the client organization
    • Conduct pilots and create opportunities to upsell
  • Product
    • Function as the voice of the customer and provide internal feedback on how Artoo can better serve our customers.
    • Write functional requirement documents for new features based on your market knowledge and interactions with customers.
  • People
    • Manage a team of Business Analysts. Develop team through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments, and establishing performance & development plan.
    • Be on the recruitment panel for Business Analysts. Keep the bar high. Recruit and rapidly onboard new team members
